The HR Advisor is responsible for partnering with employees and management to provide HR generalist support, HR subject matter expertise (SME), talent identification and recruiting, and consultative support to enhance business outcomes through the recommendation and implementation support of initiatives surrounding people engagement and business performance efficiency.
Provide HR consultative services in regards to total rewards, legal, policy and procedure, and workforce planning. Apply expertise in the full range of the HR arena to support the organization's mission & business needs.
Conduct and lead the entire recruitment and hiring process for assigned Roles. Provide input and recommendations to hiring manager with regards to candidate selection. Participate in career fairs and other outreach events.
Change Management Support:
Assist HR Manager with the application of Change Management techniques to align divisional performance to evolving strategies, goals and objectives. Provide ongoing assistance to manager with large scale projects including data compilation analysis, reporting, etc.
Build trust inducing relationships with employees to effectively capture and develop recommendations to promote the Voice of the Employee (VOE) into Bank & HR planning.
Business Acumen Knowledge:
Develop and maintain a broad understanding of all Bank lines of business, key business drivers and overarching strategy of assigned Division(s)
Cross Functional Working Relationships (CFWR):
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with HR Total Rewards, Solution One, Talent Acquisition (TAG), HR Business Partners and other business units throughout the Bank.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations and the bank’s BSA/AML Program as applicable to your job duties.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience in Human Resources or related business field.
Experience in full life cycle recruiting.
Working knowledge of HR practices and employment law
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and consult with all levels within the organization.
Business acumen and strategic thinking skills
Understanding of the value of Performance Management on business performance
Ability to manage projects spanning over several months (Typically 3-9 Months)
Strong time management skills with the ability to adhere to multiple overlapping timelines of completion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer or speaking over the telephone.
Must have the ability to travel amongst other work locations throughout the day as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management.
Minimum of 1-3 years Human Resources experience with an emphasis on recruitment and selection.
Experience working with HR applicant tracking systems.
Previous working experience in a consultative capacity
