The purpose of this position is to:|
Define business and technical requirements.
Oversee and approve technical design and systems development and testing to ensure requirements are met.
Create and/or audit high level functional design.
Provide support to Project Managers (PM) to ensure projects meet required timelines and deliverables.

Works in partnership with senior level business clients to understand client's strategies, goals and objectives and define appropriate technology solutions.
Leads facilitated sessions (all levels of the organization) to gather and document businessprocesses and functional requirements for large and/or multiple projects.
Coordinates approvals and sign-offs of key deliverables.
Communicates and refines business processes (captures features/functions of a system to support and enable business processes).
Develops detailed recommendations for automation that support and enable businessprocess improvements.
Prioritizes systems requirements to accurately align with business objectives (within a project).
Works with Project Manager (PM) to keep changes in priorities aligned with changing project needs.
Identifies and shares business analysis techniques, custom solutions and/or ACNielsen product capabilities across project teams.
Articulates (to the business) the tactical implications of implementing new solutions.
Develops/writes use case analyses (as a means of capturing requirements).
Recommends business process and procedures to capitalize on technology.
Creates traceability matrix from requirements to design to ensure all business requirements are translated into the system design.
Reviews and approves the UAT traceability matrix to ensure all requirements have been accounted for.
Investigates alternatives to satisfy business requirements, provides recommendations to the project team regarding cost/benefit, reduced workload, increased efficiency, etc.
Makes tactical project-level technology selections within established guidelines/boundaries.
Leverages other systems/functional experts to document data and process flows within the systems requirements document.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource/consultant to senior-level stakeholders, other Systems associates re: emerging technologies, product capabilities, business processes, change impacts, integration with other systems.
Participates in and signs off on technical design reviews, component/code reviews and test results reviews to ensure that business requirements are met.
Confers with assigned project team to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
Facilitates assessment of current technology capabilities, issues and opportunities.
Works with functional areas and Systems teams to develop service level and performance requirements.
Works with ITIM to identify, define and validate business continuity/infrastructure and support requirements.
Works with other systems/functional experts to develop high-level functional design and identify design constraints.
Creates and maintains cross-system documentation.
Provides input to PM(s) for project scoping, resources, priorities, effort and duration enabling PM(s) to define an accurate project plan.
Participates in reviews, as requested by the PM, for project scoping, resources, priorities, effort and duration.
Meets commitments on assigned projects.
Identifies and raises project issues, change requests and risks to PMs (keeps PMs fully informed).
Provides input into standards for project methodologies and deliverables.
B.A./B.S. in Computer Science (or other technical discipline) or equivalent experience
7+ year’s experience in business/systems analysis and/or application design and development
Minimum 3 years prior experience in full systems development lifecycle on multiple concurrent projects; demonstrated track record of delivering solutions that meet business needs.
Ability to effectively lead and influence multiple levels of an organization across functional boundaries
In-depth knowledge of relevant technology concepts (e.g., relational databases, mainframe, client-server and web-based architectures)
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills including problem solving, prioritizing and interpersonal relationship building
Proven track record in working directly with clients to define technology solutions that enable their business objectives
Proven track record in making significant contributions to team efforts
Proven organization and time management skills (ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines)
Ability to work independently with little supervision and direct the work of others
Proven ability to facilitate group discussion and build consensus
Proficient at complex business process modeling
Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling concepts
Highly proficient at use case development and analysis
