The Shared Services facility located in Tulsa, OK provides back-office, clerical, administrative, and accounting support to the field locations of National Car Rental, Alamo Rent-a-Car, and Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
The team’s primary responsibility is assuring that financial statements accurately reflect the financial position of the receivable and related assets managed by Tulsa Shared Services and that the General Ledger accurately reflects the results of the Tulsa Shared Services AR, Credit Card, and Credit & Collection teams. Interrelated is the assurance that the AR Sub-ledgers timely reflect relevant information to maximize the effectiveness of the AR and Credit & Collection teams.
Reconcile General Ledger Accounts to Odyssey and to the Accounts Receivable Sub-ledger
Perform trending analysis on General Ledger activity and balances
Support Corporate and Tour Accounts Receivable Teams by providing ad hoc queries and reports
Identify aged receivables and work with Collectors to write off uncollectible items in accordance with established company policies
Monitor the AR Sub-ledger for anomalies and work with appropriate user groups to resolve
Assemble requested documents and reports for Internal and External Audit groups
Upload monthly recurring PeopleSoft Journal Entries as well as correcting Journal Entries as needed
Provide reports to assist Credit and Collections Management in forecasting the AR Reserve
Manage reservation data associated with Premier First/Europe Car and provide reports specified in our European Alliance Contract.
Assist with special projects
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required
3+ Years Accounting or Finance experience required
PeopleSoft and Odyssey knowledge preferred
Must have an intermediate to advanced skill level in MS Office products, specifically in Excel with knowledge of Access.
Must be at least 18 years old
Apart from religious observations, must be able to work between the hours Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm 40/hour work week
Must be willing to accept starting pay of $24/hour.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
