Direct Hire Opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner experienced with Interventional Radiology/Oncology.To manage patients undergoing radioembolization, with Y-90, within a hospital setting. This includes the initial referral, consultation, treatment planning, insurance clearance, scheduling management, coordination of multidisciplinary conference and data base management for outcomes reporting. Position works closely with members of radioembolization team to promote ideal patient care and promote growth of the practice. Minnesota Registered Nurse/Minnesota Nurse Practitioner Certification.
Successful completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program in an ambulatory care setting.
Prescriptive privileges in the State of Minnesota.
Sound knowledge of adult oncology care, including related diagnostic, treatment and symptom management skills.
Demonstrated excellence in communication with patients, staff, physicians and nurses. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, self-directed and motivated individual.
Ability to build professional relationships within the greater oncology community.
Willingness to learn cutting edge treatment modalities.
