Location Birmingham AL Department Marketing Category Active Primary Duties * Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) - Manage multiple RFP responses from receipt of request to award. Author and edit proposal content that describes MEDSEEK's value pro, market ing and competitive advantages. Coordinate and communicate effectively with intra-organizational departments to round out content and ensure accuracy of responses. Proofread and update drafts in their entirety for consistency, clarity, appropriateness and persuasiveness of the material.

Ensure proposals are well-written, accurate and compliant with the requirements of the proposal request. * Market Intelligence - Review, consolidate and present proposal win/loss analysis data. Be an expert on our buyers - who the decision makers are by title, how they buy and their buying criteria. Leverage this data to gain a competitive advantage in the RFP/RFI process.

  • System Management and Maintenance: Develops and maintains marketing information systems (proposal database, product catalog, win/loss reports, creative briefs and project description files, etc.) * Product Marketing Support - Assist Product Marketing Managers with sales enablement projects, leveraging content created for RFPs in PowerPoint presentations or other sales tools that connect MEDSEEK solutions to the problems that are most pervasive and urgent for targeted buyers. * Demand generation - Assist in the execution of lead generation programs that drive demand for MEDSEEK products including direct mail campaigns, email campaigns, Webinars and our annual user group event. in marketing, communications, journalism or other related major * At least two years of software/technology marketing experience including at least one year of experience writing RFP responses and various marketing materials; healthcare IT marketing background a distinct advantage * Solid analytical and strategic thinking. Must be able to understand technical concepts and complex material and, in turn, explain technical concepts clearly, concisely and logically * Superior written (including grammar) and verbal communication skills. Must possess a persuasive writing style that generates interest in the company's products or services. * Computer literate; advanced level of competence with MS Office 2010; experience with a proposal generation system a plus * Able to build strong professional relationships with employees of all levels and from various business groups; produce excellent work without close supervision; be persistent, tactful and enthusiastic * Deadline oriented; excellent organizational skills; superb attention to detail; able to self-manage to ensure on-time completion of assigned projects * Ability to handle a heavy and steady stream of work; juggle multiple tasks and work effectively under time constraints * Willing to travel up to 10%
