Position Description

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for establishing, cultivating and maintaining relationships with the branch services of Ministry of Defense and private sector particularly UAE AF&AD, UAE Land Forces, UAE SOC and CNIA. To be qualified for this position the person must possess in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, and requirements. The person in this position is expected to interface with customers and Boeing resources, and provide business case analysis/recommendations. They will support sales and campaign activities by developing strategies and tactics to foster business growth. The person must be able to assist in preparing proposals by developing themes and discriminators and reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, and executive summary. The qualified candidate will be able to research, review, and analyze information about competitors' products and services and leverages to improve our competitive position and to secure customer and vendor commitments on behalf of The Boeing Company. This person is responsible for customer satisfaction and ensuring that the customer is happy with our interface and the level of support shown by the visiting Boeing teams.
Success in this position requires constant attention to and communication with all key customers and other key leaders in government, private sector and commercial businesses. These activities frequently extend to evenings and weekends (after normal working hours) at various formal and in-formal social and official events. This position also requires an intimate knowledge of cultural, religious and tribal relationships within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the associated network of positions that influence the successful outcome of Boeing programs in country. This person must have the skill and experience to conduct briefings and technical meetings with top management and customer representatives. This person must be familiar with and be able to interface with all Boeing Defense, Space, and Security programs. This interface includes advice, guidance, and facilitation in the furtherance of program wins and program execution; in order to facilitate Boeing leadership decisions regarding all aspects of Boeing programs in the United Arab Emirates.
This person is responsible for the inputs and quality-control of communications, program decision papers, white papers, background papers and proposals from the programs to the customer. This position provides support to Boeing senior leadership regarding status of all affected Boeing programs. This position will be a key to the hosting of Boeing personnel visiting the UAE. With intimate program knowledge, this person must be able to recommend and make the appropriate appointments and recommend talking points to Boeing personnel. In addition, this person will accompany (as necessary) program personnel to appointments to help facilitate discussions.

Typical Education/Experience
The candidate should be university graduate or from Military Technical College graduate. Fluent in English and Arabic. Computer knowledge is required and ability to work with the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point and etc.). The candidate should have experience in, and knowledge about, the UAE ARMED FORCES.
