Responsible for processing various incoming and outgoing phone calls for assigned clients and programs in accordance with policies, procedures, quality standards, and all state and federal laws and regulations; as required, perform calls to health care facilities, businesses and consumers while maintaining a basic working clinical understanding of the clients products and or services that are currently being represented. Other functions may include: developing assigned staff to achieve individual, company, and client goals; work with supervisor to establish daily objectives and prioritize workload, ensuring deadlines are met and staffing levels are appropriate; support the quality performance of assigned staff by providing accurate responses to questions with a sense of urgency during call processing; lead and participate in processing various incoming and outgoing focused initiatives; establish a good working relationship with team members and department contacts in order to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall service being provided.
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Clinical Resource - Maintain up-to-date applicable clinical knowledge necessary to answer the majority of clinically based comments and or questions either directed from assigned team members or customers
Team Development - Maintain client product knowledge and develop assigned staff to achieve individual, company and client goals
Staff Assistance - Provide assistance to assigned co-workers ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures
Floor Assistance - Support the quality performance of assigned staff by providing accurate responses to questions with a sense of urgency during call processing
Sales Functions - Lead and participate in processing various incoming and outgoing sales focused phone calls requiring clinical knowledge for assigned clients and programs in accordance with policies, procedures, quality standards, and federal laws and regulations
Team Interfaces/Customer Service - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members and department contacts
Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.
High school education or GED required
Appropriate Health Care certification or license required, based on product line and market sector
Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in field related to client or project required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements-Registered Nurse required
Minimum 1 year customer service, sales or related Health Care experience required
Candidates need to meet the experience requirements for specific project or client
Work Scheduled hours of 12:30pm-9pm M-F
Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel required
Must successfully complete and achieve an acceptable level on job-related testing
