The Position

The HR Benefits Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of benefits for Roche North America Pharma and Diagnostics as part of the HR Shared Service organization. This position is responsible for process ownership including leading the planning, development, implementation and administration for benefits including leave administration, health and welfare, and retirement. This role requires significant interactions with HR Business Partners, senior business leaders, external vendors and various other internal stakeholders both locally and globally to understand stakeholder needs, optimize processes, align and harmonize system requirements and processes and drive required change management. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for given processes, advising company management in HR policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions; contributing and achieving results through the management of subordinates, and establishing and managing the department's budget and all assigned resources.

Qualifications include: · Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources or related field · 5+ years human resources experience in Benefits Administration · Prior leadership experience with direct people leadership responsibility · Demonstrated excellence in customer relations and building partnerships and managing stakeholders at all levels within an organization · Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple projects · Knowledge of related HR federal / state / local laws and regulations · Strong negotiation skills Preferred: · Experience in running HR processes on an enterprise HR System (e.g. SAP) · Experience working in a global environment · Project Management experience · Experience servicing multiple sites in shared service environment
