Final Assembly Lead
The Final Assembly Lead, under the guidance of the Shift Manager, will be responsible for the day to day workflow in our Production area, primarily of our Photobook products. We need a proactive leader who can work well with other Leads, Operators, and Technicians to exceed expectations on common goals and objectives that deliver amazing products that delight our customers.
Follows and enforces facility work rules, company’s best practices and values
Follows and enforces all facility safety rules.
Drive Productivity by:
Maintaining waste targets
Fulfillment to the customer
Maintain accurate and complete records. Fill out scrap reports, production sheets and logs and other records as assigned by Shift Manager.
Assist in transitioning of new products into production.
Clear minor machine difficulties and perform maintenance and repair as trained by engineer, technician or supervisor.
Upholds all Quality standards
Delegate work and oversee workflow
Support and update training matrix within department.
Skills and Attributes Needed:
Experience with high volume repetitive manufacturing.
Previous lead and or QC experience in manufacturing a plus.
Previous bindery finishing experience a plus.
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft, Excel, Word, etc.)
Ability to work at a fast pace while standing.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Detail oriented and has good record keeping skills.
Able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
Must be dependable, reliable and have a good work ethic.
Flexible on work schedule
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, mobility to crouch, reaches, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms.
Adaptability to change, willingness to learn new jobs.
Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
