COMINT is seeking a Network Engineer - Security Design to join our team. This position will be located in Herndon, VA. This position will provide computer network support services that include developing router scripts, network design and implementation for computer networks. This position will also be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop or recommend network security measures, such as firewalls, network security audits, or automated security probes. Participate in network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware and software and integration testing. Develop or maintain project-reporting systems. Develop disaster recovery plans. Develop network-related documentation. Implement Virtual LAN's, multicasts and security appliances. Perform (advanced level) configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of IP network infrastructure. Write system requirement documents. Develop design solutions (physical and logical) that are in compliance with best engineering practices, standards, and guidelines, implementing and testing the solution to ensure compliance with customer requirements. Minimum Qualifications: An Active TS/SCI with FULL SCOPE POLY Security Clearance is required. LAN/WAN knowledge, EIGRP, OSPF, TCP/IP; 6 - 9 years of Design/Implementation experience; 6+ years of IP, SONET, ATM; Demonstrated Firewall security experience; Cisco or Juniper (i.e., CCIE, CCNP, CCDE, JNCIE) certification required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline combined with 8 years of directly related work experience; or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
