Coordinator, Medical Staff Office is responsible for various administrative duties as requested by the medical staff, chairs of the medical staff departments and committees and System Director of Medical Staff Services and Manager of Medical Staff Services.Associate degree in secretarial sciences or medical field preferred. Minimum of five years experience performing administrative duties. Effective communication skills. Ability to take minutes at an adequate speed while remaining accurate.Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook). Clinical background helpful. Understanding of medical terminology preferred. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisior. Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and maintain confidential information. Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.Knowledge of Medical Staff Services processes preferred(i.e. credentialing, reappointment, clinical privileging, etc.)
