Food Retail Operations Manager
Sodexo is seeking for a Food Retail Operations Manager for a Large Multi-site retail operation at acute Care / teaching hospital in Nashville, TN. The Operations Retail Manager at this location will be responsible to manage all food retail operations, manage 20-30 employees with a managed volume of approximately $3-5 million annually. The Retail Operations Manager will have an active role in managing the daily operations related to finance, cost controls, customer service, and provide strategic leadership to exceed resident and client expectations. This position is also responsible for the planning, organizing, and the operations of all the dining services. Reporting to the District Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as a Food Service Manager or Operations Manager / Food Service Director, and have experience in training and developing staff, coordinating customer service programs. Fundamental culinary knowledge, and must have an extensive operations background in high volume locations.
Position Summary :
Directs all retail operations at a large single or multi site account/unit. Drives revenue, profitability and quality of retail business while enhancing and ensuring standards are met at all times. Plays a key role in the implementation and evaluation of product/service offerings, brands and/or in-house signature and national brands Maintains cash control and payroll records. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to client account reporting to DM or RDM.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in retail operations
