Organizational Objective/Purpose: The Office of Corporate Counsel provides legal counsel to the business units throughout The Charles Schwab Corporation Brief Description of Role:

The individual will provide administrative support for a team of Attorneys and Paralegals within the Office of Corporate Counsel. This position requires the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information with diplomacy and discretion, as well as a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must possess heavy litigation experience in the last few years. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to prepare for court proceedings Produce correspondence, reports and memorandum to a high standard File legal documentation for any litigations Coordinate Attorney schedules & travel, track hearings, deadlines and important dates Provide general administrative assistance Technical/Functional Qualifications: 5+ years previous experience providing litigation administrative support to legal teams required Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Suite - particularly PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word Strong administrative skills with ability to anticipate and resolve problems on own initiative Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate flexible work style, ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure Project management skills - ability to self-manage deliverables and deadlines for simultaneous projects The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively as part of an office team is a key success driver Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Some Paralegal training is a plus
