Business Analyst, Advertising Sales & Marketing
The Time Inc Next Generation Ad Solutions are a suite of products leveraging the power of Time Inc brands, deep consumer insights and our rich first party data to deliver greater access, insights and results than ever before.
As an integral member of the ASM business office, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with the financial processes of the Next Generation Ad Solutions as well as miscellaneous online revenue streams. Strong reporting capabilities are essential. The position also requires the ability to develop strong relationships with various departments. A background in publishing or digital media is a plus.
Maintaining revenue and ad sales incentive reports on Pipeline & Booked “Next Gen” Campaigns
Communicating booking info with cluster business offices and other stakeholders
Coordinating with other Time Inc departments to manage reporting and journal entry processing
Preparing monthly journal entries
Processing of accounts payable
Review and reconcile select balance sheets
Ad hoc reporting/analysis
Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)
Quick learner and problem solver
Strong oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to think strategically and analytically
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required, 2+ years experience preferred
Familiarity with Peoplesoft and Sales Force is a plus.
