Administrative Technology Solutions is seeking an Application Developer to support and build enterprise solutions focused on Oracle’s technology platform.
This position requires thorough knowledge of a technical specialty as would normally be acquired through a bachelors degree from an accredited program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electronics, Engineering, Telecommunications or a relevant discipline. Additionally, a minimum of two years related Oracle database and web applications development experience and/or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and work experience is required.
The experience, skills and abilities sought in the applicant are as follows:
Applicants should have minimum 2-3 years of Oracle Database design, PL/SQL, SQL, Discoverer development experience; 1-2 years experience in Oracle ERP concepts; 1-2 years experience with J2EE Development; and 1-2 years experience in general software engineering concepts. Proven experience in developing applications or components using a combination of the above is a must.
Knowledge and experience in Service oriented concepts (SOA) is a plus.
Additional required skills include: demonstrated experience in delivering quality, at professional level, completed task(s) on time. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all organizational levels and with technical staff are required. Ability to work under stress addressing critical problems in short timelines is required. Must possess excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Excellent analytical skills to be able to research and troubleshoot issues independently; design and document technical solutions is a must.
