Description
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Document Control Clerk to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop

Grumman's Health IT, Health and Human Services operating unit which focuses on healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, state, and local government clients.

Document Control Clerks handle both incoming and outbound mail, prepare and bundle documents, scan inbound documents, perform document indexing, including conducting searches to determine the correct case to link the document to, appropriately store or shred paper documents, and log document control volumes and activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

Receives, sorts and distributes incoming and interoffice mail and scans and copy documents. Supports mail room coordinator as needed or volume requires: (Opens and seals envelopes; date-stamps material; maintains rosters/mailing list and location lists; weighs and stamps outgoing mail; readdresses misdirected mail and delivers mail) and assists other clerical employees by performing such duties as filing, running errands, and labeling. May process classified or sensitive mail in accordance with security regulations

· ­ Handles both incoming and outbound mail

· ­ Prepares and bundles documents

· ­ Scans inbound documents

­ Performs document indexing, including conducting searches to determine the correct case to link the document to, appropriately store or shred paper documents, and log document control volumes and activities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED adn 2+ years of experience

- Ability to communicate effectively with project staff and customers or problem solving skills

- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of human services programs

- Good interpersonal and written communication skills

- Basic Understanding of systems design and development processes
