Extremities Sales Representative II (Washington D.C)
Reporting to a Director of Sales, the Extremities Sales Representative is responsible for exceeding sales quota within an assigned territory by driving the market acceptance of Smith & Nephew products.
The position requires the ability to assimilate and deliver a high level of technical information as it relates to extremities products and to sell their advantages over the competition.

Conducts Orthopedic and Podiatric “In-Service Training Programs”
Med Ed Programs
at hospitals , ambulatory surgical centers and applicable clinics as scheduled and required.
Develops rapport with personnel at target hospitals
and ambulatory surgical centers within specific areas, with an emphasis on extremity specialists (Lower Extremity / Foot & Ankle ), Upper Extremity ( Hand & Wrist / Elbow).
Acquires in-depth knowledge of the key products and competitor offerings.

Works closely with Market Managers and Clinical Specialists to evaluate new products in the procedure specific category and to target and sell to key national surgeons.

Requirements- Travel-Domestic-Up to 75%
Bachelor's degree in business/marketing or related field.
Minimum 4 years direct sales experience, preferably in medical device industry.
Experience with selling product or technology to multiple call points in the hospital, including surgeons, nursing and administration.
Demonstrated consistent track record of sales success.
Personal integrity and accountability.
High degree of self motivation coupled with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
Demonstrated success using teamwork, working with customers, vendors and cross functional internal teams.
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and demos as the technical expert.
