Responsibilities:
The Server Based Desktop Engineering team is responsible for the planning, design, and development and of virtual desktop and terminal server solutions. The department focuses on creating industry leading solutions focused on exceeding requirements.
The Systems Engineer on the Server Based Desktop team is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing and documenting complex solutions. The Systems Engineer is considered the product owner on specific technologies and provides guidance to Tier III support groups to remediate pervasive issues. This position includes project participation to accurately communicate milestone progress. This position will provide ROI analysis and presentations to multiple levels of management.
This position will be based in our Weldon Spring office.
Qualifications:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
3 + years experience following an engineering development lifecycle, including formal requirement gathering,creating detailed design drawings, testing methodologies, developing implementation strategies, and establishing monitoring techniques
Proficient in Citrix XenServer, Citrix XenApp, Citrix Provisioning server, Windows Remote Desktop Solution, Windows Group Policies, Windows print clusters and thin clients
Ability to design within Information Technology standards
Proficient solving complex problems
Detail oriented design skills combined effective time management
Ability to interpret business requirements into technical specification
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with peers, vendors, management, and other departments within IT
Strong verbal and written communication skills
