Description/Job Summary SUMMARY
Generates Bill of Ladings for documentation of Loads to be delivered, Calculates and processes paperwork for licensing of vehicles and trailers, tracks loads by driver assigned and generates records for processing by payroll. Prepares written correspondence
as directed, Assists Accountant, Manager, Dispatchers and other as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine office duties such as typing, bookkeeping, time keeping, correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
Makes suggestions for improvement in efficiencies, productivity and work flow of the office duties.
Systematically retains, protects, retrieves and disposes of records as directed.
Self checks work completed to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
Presents professional image by wearing appropriate business attire and grooming.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree or equivalent; and two to four year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires knowledge of office information systems including the use of personal computers and applications software
for word processing, spreadsheets and network communications.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate with others effectively to receive and provide needed
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Book keeping – conduct telephone communications in a professional manner.
