The Autism Line Staff position in the Neshkoro Area Area is part of our Beyond Boundaries of Autism program team. This position will help coordinate in-home services to children and young adults with autism, age 3 to 22. The Autism Line Staff position uses natural environment teaching with Autism Behavior Analysis to provide support, growth and development to those we serve. Develop therapeutic relationships with families and the individuals with autism being served.
Provide activities as directed by the Senior Therapist.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation consistent with all contracts, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Work collaboratively with families and collaterals to ensure a team-focused approach and response to the needs of the individuals being served.
Communicate effectively with members of team. Provide reports, program updates, and other information as requested.
Ensure all paperwork and procedures are in compliance with policies, procedures, and operating practices of Goodwill Industries and BBA.
Attend required meetings and trainings.
Invest in on-going professional development.
Must be 18 years of age.
Candidates must have at least 160 hours working in any setting with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders - OR- we will provide 40 hours of paid training prior to direct provision of services.
Driver's license and reliable and insured vehicle required providing services in a variety of settings.
Education generally equivalent to a high school diploma is preferred but not required.
