Dow Jones and Company seeks IT Lead - Access Program Development in South Brunswick, NJ.

Working in a team of internal and contracted developers that are responsible for design, development, deployment and support for identity management, Provisioning, Profile Systems; Working with Project Managers to frame, plan and execute projects effectively, ensuring that deliverables meet functional and quality requirements within established timelines; Deliver leading edge solutions by partnering with Business and Technical partners, working with tech leads and the shared Architecture leaders to ensure that technology is scalable, robust, and positioned for exponential growth; Research and champion emerging internet technologies in the area of Identity and SSO in order to improve our competitive advantage in the marketplace; Ensuring the applications remain well protected and cared for based on standard development life cycle practices; providing information to various auditors as needed; Working on multiple project groups under Consumer Access program for multiple content site on online, mobile and tablet devices; Overseeing effective day to day production support activities, including also disaster recovery and contingency planning and testing; Partnering with colleagues to collaborate on cross-application project development and ensure that data flow across systems is consistent and well understood.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience; a minimum of 5 years of development experience building Identity and Provisioning applications; a minimum of 5 years of development experience on Identity and Single-Sign-On Systems; experience with LDAP identity management software; excellent technical skills using Linux, Java, Java script, Hibernate; experience implementing systems with open source tools (Eclipse, log4j, Struts, junit) with Spring; experience with Oracle and RAC database technologies; significant experience with AJAX and related technologies; strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and J2EE design patterns; strong knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, SOAP, JSON, REST Release/Build/Configuration management experience (ANT, Subversion); understanding of complex Web development issues including security, accessibility, concurrency and cross-browser compatibility; and, an understanding in commerce order to cash transaction processing.

35 hours/week per year. Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
