Maine Mental Health Partners is pleased to welcome Mid-Coast Mental Health Center to the MMHP network. Mid-Coast Mental Health Center is a full service, state licensed behavioral health center with locations in Rockland and Belfast,that provides a wide range of behavioral healthcare services including outpatient psychiatry, therapy, crisis response, primary care integration, and substance abuse treatment. Since opening their doors in 1965, Mid-Coast Mental Health Center has established itself as a premier provider of behavioral healthcare services to the mid-coast area.

Mid-Coast Mental Health Center is seeking an experienced full time Emergency Services Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team of professionals. Emergency Service Workers provide support and supervision to clients in acute psychiatric crisis. This position encourages healthful status through hygiene, diet, coping strategies and increasing opportunities for social contact and access to community resources. The Emergency Services Worker provides a supportive presence during appointments and services related to treatment goals. This position engages in team meetings with the treatment team, participates in the plan of care, and communicates observations relevant to treatment plan goals.

1 – 3 years experience working in the outpatient behavioral health field and/or crisis residential services, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Valid Maine driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation and proof of motor vehicle liability insurance required

Bachelors degree in Social Work/related fieldj or equivalent experience. MHRT-I certification preferred; Training leading to MHRT-I certification provided

CRMA preferred.
