Founded in 1848, Rhodes College is a highly selective, private, coeducational, residential, undergraduate college. We invite applications for an Alumni Services Coordinator. This person receives requests for and provides services to alumni, parents, students, and other constituents needing assistance from the Alumni Relations Office or the College. Coordinates alumni admission recruitment events and volunteer calling and the Legacy program. Coordinates alumni special recognition program including letters/e-mails on significant achievements and events. Assist with relationship management and serves as the initial point of contact for constituents by managing the office email account, incoming phone traffic, and front desk of the office. Coordinates logistical details for on-campus and off-campus events sponsored by the Alumni Relations Office such as Homecoming, regional chapter events and special alumni meetings. Supports the development and updating of web pages for Lasting Lynx. Works closely with Advancement Services on updating and maintaining alumni records and capturing alumni engagement. Travels to staff alumni events and to visit with alumni and admission volunteers. Must conduct alumni visits and create contact reports. This position requires the flexibility to travel and work weekends and evenings when necessary.
Bachelor's degree required. Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to relate with a wide range of people in both internal and external communities. Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to utilize exceptional judgment, apply analytical skills, make decisions and represent the office and institution in a professional manner is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with Banner database is preferred. Experience or training in Web applications is preferred.
