The Partnerships Liaison coordinates and assists in managing relationships with Partners to help support sales and delivery of Medidata products & services. The Partnerships Liaison needs to be well versed in the pricing process and methodology behind Medidata's offerings, interfacing internally with various Medidata departments, and externally with our Customers.
Responsibilities:
Engage with Partners to process small deals, functioning as adjunct sales resource with guided support from respective CRODs
Help develop and manage new and existing Medidata Service Partner relationships
Assist Medidata Partner Program development, implementation and management including go-to-market strategy and analysis
Oversee collection of assumptions and parameters required for detailed pricing of Medidata's software and services
Provide back-up support to Proposal Coordinators for Proposals and SOW/ASOW/PSCA development and generation
Provide QG guidance to Partnerships team for deal making
Participation in pricing meetings
Facilitate regular updates and maintenance of Quote Generator and contractual templates as required
Assist with ad hoc projects as required
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 3 (preferably 5) years successful hands-on experience working with CROs
At least 1 year experience in quoting and bidding process
Ability to listen, think logically, strategically, and tactically to solve complex problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, demonstrating an ability to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
Bachelors Degree in the Life Sciences, Engineering or Computer Science preferred, Masters Degree or higher a plus
