About this job
Lock 7 Development (www.lock7development.com) seeks a combination Office and Marketing Manager to run our marketing efforts and day-to-day operations. Our company locates, designs and builds high-end condominiums in Washington, DC. This position entails managing all of our social media, creating marketing programs to find new development sites and overseeing operational tasks relating to running the office. This position works directly with both of the principals of the firm on a daily basis in a small, entrepreneurial environment with excellent room for upward growth.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement direct mail, print and online marketing campaigns to locate new development opportunities
  • Promoting current projects through targeted marketing campaigns and promotional events (charity events, hard hat tours, etc.)
  • Draft compelling content for our blog (www.lock7development/blog), Twitter and Facebook pages 2-3 days a week
  • Manage administrative tasks such as keeping subcontractor information current for insurance and tax purposes and responding to inquiries from buyers and sellers
  • Create and manage project timelines for a workforce of 25+ employees
  • Collaborate with architects in design meetings, attend walk-through inspections with subcontractors and buyers
  • Administer and track expenses, invoices and payroll of subcontractors
  • Respond to warranty claims and questions, coordinate repair work

Requirements

  • A 4-year college degree
  • Previous marketing and administrative experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Wordpress
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Self-starter, comfortable with working independently
  • Ability to thrive in a small-office environment
  • Minimum two-year commitment

Pluses

  • Previous work experience in real estate development or a related field such as architecture, construction or interior design
  • Sales experience
  • Bookkeeping experience such as tracking expenses in spreadsheets
  • Active use of Twitter or blog-writing experience
  • Ability to speak Spanish to communicate with subcontractors

Details

  • Starting base salary at $42-$55k, depending on work experience with bonuses for finding new development opportunities
  • 40 hrs a week, Monday-Friday
  • Office will be located in NW DC near Logan Circle
