Conducts training programs using specific techniques to facilitate the group process and information exchange and to promote the transfer of learning to the job that are integral to the training process. Develops generic training programs based on the identified needs. Prepares lesson plans, evaluation procedures, and other material essential to the conduct training. Assists in the assessment of training needs. Conducts follow-up studies to determine the impact of the training experience on employee job functioning. Performs related duties having to do with the registration of participant, the monitoring of attendance, the identified of potential training sites, and such other responsibilities as may be necessary to maintain the quality of training programs.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and related instructional experience.
Bachelor's degree and two years experience in personnel, employee training or career development, social service, counseling, training or education programs. Knowledge of staff development/training/human behaviors methods /principles/techniques; design/development of needs assessment training/structure/evaluation/audio-visual/other training tools; individual and group dynamics and the use of informal and formal training programs; ability to conduct conferences/lead discussions/instruct training groups/stimulate individuals and groups in the learning process. TOT- Training of Trainers certification and computer skills desired.
