The HR Manager, Compliance and Standards is responsible for ensuring that HR policies are relevant and up to date, establishing efficient processes for key HR functions and managing the internal audit process.
Manage the process for updating HR policies for the enterprise; collaborate with corporate and community partners to create and edit policies as needed; manage the implementation of consistent policies and ensure awareness in all locations.
Assess current processes for key HR functions (i.e., criminal background, references, I-9, employee file maintenance, record retention, job descriptions, licensure, visas, etc.); recommend changes and partner with community HR leadership to implement.
Ensure internal audit process is relevant and reflects current HR processes. Collaborate with community HR teams to implement. Analyze results and make recommendations to improve policies and/or processes to ensure enterprise-wide compliance to the letter and spirit of employment laws. Manage monthly HR Risk Assessment.
Manage process for tracking employee relations investigations across the enterprise. Ensure consistent use of standardized investigation plan and coach/train as needed. Analyze trends in investigation issues and make recommendations based on analysis.
Ensure that new regulatory requirements are incorporated into policies, processes and internal audit.
Complete other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor¿s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Communications or related field. Minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience.
