BASIC FUNCTION: Complete supervision of the Financial Analyst. Assists in the installation and monitoring of accounting systems and policies of the company. Prepares and analyzes financial reports and systems.
Develop subordinates and administer human resources activities as they relate to performance and compensation management, utilization of training resources, and the application of company policies and procedures for employees in assigned work groups.
Assist with and prepare month-end financial data reports, including journal entries; perform analysis of financial statements; and reconcile general ledger balance sheet accounts
Prepare and distribute internal and external financial reporting information
Assist in preparation of short-term forecasting and budgeting.
Coordinate the taking of physical inventory and oversee the reconciliation of the physical to book.
Prepare year-end financial information and coordinate year end audit.
Recommend and/or assist in establishment of policies and procedures.
Responsible for all financial records storage.
Assist in preparation of PAR's
Special projects as assigned.
Carries out assigned functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manuals, and implements TS16949 procedures.
Makes recommendations, plans and suggestions that promote continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Four (4) years or more of college or equivalent to a BBA degree in accounting or related accounting experience. Must possess knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and practices. Must be able to work in a team orientated environment. PC experience required with proficiency in Windows environment software preferred.
