*CB EMCORE offers a broad portfolio of compound semiconductor-based products for the telecom, CATV, satellite communications, video transport, defense & homeland security and solar power markets. Our two primary operating segments are Fiber Optics and Solar Photovoltaics. EMCORE Fiber Optics provides optical components, subsystems and systems that enable the transmission of video, voice, and data over high-capacity fiber optic links. EMCORE Solar Photovoltaics provides products based on its high-efficiency Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) solar cells for both space and terrestrial solar power applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
-Sustain and improve current manufacturing processes. -Characterize and qualify new processes as they are transferred from development to production. -Generate Engineering Change requests and provide required documentation for process changes. -Interface between equipment engineering services and vendors to resolve equipment issues. -Project focused assignments for process improvement.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: -BS degree in Engineering or Science
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: -5+ years in III/V semiconductor manufacturing.
-Practical application of Design of Experiments (DOE).
-Demostrated understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
-Photolithography, plasma desposition, metal evaporation, plasma etch, wet etch, meteorology (film thickness, prolifometry, optical microscope measurment, ellipsometry), water lapping, eater thinning.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
US citizenship mandatory due to site regulations.
