Hearst Community Newspaper Group is looking for an innovative, talented, Circulation/Audience Executive to lead one of our Texas media companies to new heights while maintaining excellent service for existing customers. We are seeking a proven leader with experience in both traditional newspaper circulation management and digital audience development. This is a key senior leadership position that will be a part of the executive team developing strategy for the company, while also driving audience growth.
The successful candidate will have experience in field operations, sales, expense management and pricing. This leader will be able to work with other department heads to achieve organizational goals, while also keeping close scrutiny on customer service and audience growth.
Minimum of five years circulation management experience at a daily newspaper
Demonstrated experience developing and managing a superior delivery network with excellent service results
Proven track record of driving both print and digital subscription sales
A firm understanding of customer loyalty programs and customer retention strategies
Experience in budgeting, strategic planning, performance management and forecasting is a must
