Maintain all equipment/facilities in the Distribution Center and any offsite buildings run by the Distribution
Center. Upkeep of the areas must be completed in a timely manner to maintain established department and
Distribution Center standards.
1-3 years related experience preferred
Ability to operate material handling equipment
Adhere to company policies and procedures; follow department training manual guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Comply with all Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) standards and lock out/tag out procedures and department safety.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Maintain standards of appearance according to Distribution Center dress code.
Work well with fellow Associates and Supervisors.
Work overtime on occasional basis.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions and take directions.
Ability to perform regular maintenance and repair on all power and material handling equipment such as forklifts, power lifts, pallet jacks and handcarts.
Working knowledge of basic mechanical and gear drives, 480/208 electrical motors and devices, plumbing and HVAC equipment, conveyor repair, PLC and Pneumatics.
Ability to climb ladders and run all power equipment and lifts.
Must have own basic set of tools.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Physical activity includes standing/walking up 8-12 hours with scheduled breaks, kneeling, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing on a regular basis. Frequent movement of cartons and equipment weighing up to 60 lbs. on a frequent basis and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis (with assistance if necessary).
Ability to use cleaning/disinfecting solutions, oil and equipment according to MSDS procedure.
Read, write and perform basic math.
Regular and prompt attendance.
