Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: On
site management of a voice network contract for a federal customer in
Washington, DC; Scheduling; assigning staff; allocating resources; assessing
risk and its management; providing status reports to all interested parties;
management of milestones; Responsibilities to include: full time, onsite
support of a federal contract within DC; After hours on call duties;
reachability 24/7/365; Daily customer interface, personnel management, other
duties as assigned. Candidate should have a working knowledge of the Microsoft
Office suite of programs, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. In
addition, they should know Microsoft Project to include Gantt, Critical Path
and PERT charts. Candidate must be willing to follow instructions and take a
personal interest and pride in making sure the program is running smoothly at
all times. They will also need to balance the administrative side of program
management with getting results and keeping the team on track. They should be
comfortable working in a pressured environment and have a good command of
customer premise voice networks. They should be able to multi-task, prioritize
and meet tight deadlines. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Candidate
should have a 4 year college degree or several years of relevant experience in
the project management field. They should also be in possession of, or be in
the process of studying for, a project management qualification from the
Project Management Institute, such as the Certified Associate of Project
Management (CAPM) or the Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate.
They should have effective business writing skills. Required Clearance:
Requires an active TOP SECRET clearance and be clearable by the customer’s
security office.
