Job Title: Director of Business Intelligence

This position will lead the Business Intelligence team to help the organization utilize data and information. Primary focus is on creating strategic analyses, developing enterprise reporting solutions, creating data standards, and providing business intelligence to stakeholders.
As part of the Information Technology management team, this position will develop and implement enterprise wide business intelligence strategy, governance, and data architecture that meets and exceeds current and future organizational needs. The individual will work closely with organizational stakeholders to help define and implement solutions that result in a standardized and robust data and information storage and reporting environment.

: A bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or analytics. MBA preferred.
: Must possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience with complex database systems, business intelligence tools, and related systems.
: Strong analytical acumen and passionate curiosity for data.
: Experience with predictive modeling and statistical testing analytics.
: Proven ability to quickly establish credibility, trust, & support within all levels of organization.
: Strong collaboration and communication skills and successful track record working with executives and cross-functional teams.
: Excellent organizational skills, proactive, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and committed to meeting deadlines and creating and improving processes.
: Able to function as an effective team leader, with experience recruiting, managing and developing team members.
: Must possess demonstrated skills in analyzing enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence systems, including the integration of data from various sources
: Core knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies, including SharePoint 2010, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS required.
: Demonstrated knowledge of BI analytical reporting tools including data discovery solutions or similar dashboard and scorecard reporting of real-time data
: Must possess the ability to work with various stakeholders translating business requirements and desired outcomes into a sustainable and measurable analytics/reporting solution
: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
: Must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision.

: Lead the organization in developing a data and information management architecture and strategy
: Work with Project Managers and directly with organizational stakeholders to define project scope and plans to achieve data and information management objectives
: Carry out strategy based on direct alignment with organizational strategic objectives
: Identify areas to improve information efficiency and effectiveness at all levels from collection to analysis.
: Create standards and governance for data and information collection, storage, and reporting; Provide recommendations and tools to facilitate the necessary business process changes to support standards and policies
: Manage the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence
architecture that enables fact-based decision making, ad-hoc analysis, and insight
: Develop and maintain policies, best practices, procedures and guidelines necessary
to effectively administer a data warehouse and business intelligence solution
: Work directly with various vendor partners leveraging external expertise and
solutions while maintaining focus on organizational data strategy goals and
: Improve and streamline processes of data flows and data quality to improve
accuracy, viability, and value
: Collaborate with departments and end users to identify needs and opportunities for
improved data management and delivery; Communicate complex concepts and solutions to achieve stakeholder consensus regarding proposed technical solutions and business process changes
: Evaluate new technology and techniques to implement, maintain and improve the BI and database environment

This position contributes to major corporate goals by maintaining the data infrastructure on
which business systems depend and produces needed information enabling to assist
member maintain operational excellence.
