Utilizes knowled g e of engineering/construction and g eneral application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices/standards to perform cost and plannin g activities referrin g to policies for g uidance. Function as a team member track in g design/work packa g es as defined by en g ineerin g and the Owner. Plannin g the sequencin g and details of engineering/construction activities throu g h consultin g with the Project team to develop and maintain the schedule. Liaison with 3rd party En g ineerin g and Procurement firms involved in the project to incorporate their design/work packa g es into the inte g rated schedule. Obtain input from project team members, suppliers and client to support the development/maintenance of the schedule, and subsequently to update schedule pro g ress and forecastin g . Provide timely analysis and reportin g to support the project team. Evaluate cost/schedule alternatives to support project chan g es assistin g the Project Mana g er . Assist the Project Controls team in analyzin g critical path of the project. Develop weekly & monthly status reports hi g hli g htin g issues which may delay the schedule and provide alternatives to miti g ate any interruptions. Set up and/or maintain progress measurement process ; update progress for each reporting cycle.
Review progress updates with Project Management to get buy-in on reporting progress
Set up and maintain progress curves for discipline/area, as well as, for the overall project.
Training and Experience 12+ years of experience required, BA or BS or related experience is acceptable. Demonstrated experience executing a project using Primavera version 6 (P6) is required. Candidates with knowledge and experience with developing/maintaining complex spreadsheets will be considered more favorably.
Other Essential Functions The successful candidate must have the ability to function as a productive member of a complex team working with a multitude of teaming partners in a matrix organization.
