This position acts as subject matter expert for assigned area processes and supporting applications functionality and is primary liaison to functional managers. In addition, the IT Team Leader is responsible for project initiation and completion within functional area by directing activities of others as well as maintaining individual project responsibilities. Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide web applications, specifically managing multi-generational application development projects.
BS in Computer Science (or other related discipline) OR minimum of 7 years IT work experience.
Experience leading and developing teams of GE employees
Minimum of 6 years managing enterprise mission critical applications and leading development teams, managing customers, budgeting and controllership.
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience planning and executing IT projects.
A minimum 3 years of experience in managing external contractors both on and/or offshore.
Deep Understanding of Testing methodologies, including Functionality, Unit, Integration, Regression, Use Case Analysis and Black/White Box testing.
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.
Must be willing to work out of an office in Shelton, CT
