AppSense Inc., a leading provider of desktop virtualization technology, is currently looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) in our New York City location. The HRC at AppSense is responsible for supporting the US HR organization by assisting in the execution of recruitment and on-boarding processes, benefit administration, coordinating local meetings and assisting on on-boarding events, preparing data, running reports from HRIS databases and systems, and assistance in preparing reports.
Responsibilities :
The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) will be responsible for the administrative duties associated with employee transactions such as benefits, hiring, termination, transfers, pay changes, demographic changes etc. The HRC will provide administrative support to the HR team to ensure that transactions are processed timely and employees receive the human capital information they need. The HRC will use a combination of HR Information Systems and other methods to process transactions. The HRC will provide regular reports to management as scheduled or requested. In addition, the HRC will contribute to maintaining data integrity among the various systems.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Respond to employee inquiries for data and directing employees to proper contacts
Data entry and transaction processing
Maintaining event records
Filing/organizing
Personnel file maintenance
Facilitate payroll transactions to/from HRIS and finance department.
Assist with the performance management process, monitor completion status and assist with scheduling annual meetings
Assist with new hire orientation and track employees for completion status
Process demographic data changes
Run and distribute various reports for business partners on a scheduled basis
Process exiting employees information and Company equipment
Conduct employment verifications
Administer related systems such as Resource Management
Administer vacation balances
Other duties and projects as assigned
Experience - Knowledge Required & Qualifications :
Minimum 2 years human resource administration experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources
HRIS experience a plus
Must possess strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Must have strong analytical, organizational, and logic skills
Must be proficient in MSOffice suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent verbal/written skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Confidentiality a must
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
