We are looking for a Sr. Acoustical Systems Engineer for consumer loudspeakers. This individual will design speakers for the consumer market. We are targeting an individual with excellent technical communication skills and experience designing loudspeaker systems. You should also have relevant system experience including the following types: satellite and subwoofer systems; full-range, bi-amp, and tri-amp systems; low power (1W), high power (500W), battery and wall power; constrained cost, constrained portability, and/or constrained form factor. You’ll have the opportunity to use your creativity in acoustical systems design to work with factory partners to create custom transducers in support of the acoustical systems design.

We want to speak with engineers with loudspeaker experience, who have a bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related audio discipline. Additional skills needed include the following:

Loudspeaker research and development

Transducer qualification, design, and manufacturing

Signal processing algorithm development

Acoustical data measurement and analysis

Advanced acoustical systems modeling

Experience with global manufacturing

Experience with any of the following: EASERA, LEAP, Klippel, Audio Precision, Soundcheck, Matlab, MLSSA, etc.

Experience with subjective testing

Experience driving projects and multidisciplinary teams

Excellent technical communication skills

Experience with wireless systems and codecs is a plus
