Major responsibility is to teach undergraduate courses in Management and Management Science. Courses include Information Science and Quantitative Methods. Expectations include scholarship and professional activities in support of accreditation efforts including maintenance of academically qualified status as per AACSB International requirements. Expectations include development and teaching of courses via distance education (online). The assignment may include evening and/or weekend classes.
ABD in Management or Business Administration, with a major field in Management from an AACSB International accredited business school. Must have doctorate for eligibility for reappointment to the third year. Evidence of current peer-reviewed publications required for applicants whose doctorate was not earned in the past five-year period. Evidence of commitment to working in a diverse environment. Ability to conduct classes through multifaceted teaching strategies for face to face classroom delivery and/or web enhanced or web-based formats. Successful interview and teaching demonstration.
Earned doctorate in Management or Business Administration with a major field in Management from an AACSB International accredited business school. Interest and ability to teach in distance learning format. Interest and experience in academic leadership. Relevant experience and accomplishments in teaching, scholarship and industry are preferred and will influence appointment rank.
