The IS&T Human Resource team is looking for an innovative HR Manager to thrive as a business partner in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will deliver a full spectrum of HR deliverables that align with the businesses' strategic goals. This is an excellent opportunity to join an entrepreneurial and ambitious company and to grow your HR expertise.Specific responsibilities: Business Acumen: Displays a depth of understanding of the business organizations, including key business functions and processes. Can create and execute HR programs that enhance business goals and strategies.

Organizational Development: Understands the needs of the organization in terms of achieving maximum organizational performance and efficiencies. Consults and influences managers on key organizational and management concerns. Employee Relations: Consults with managers and employees on all aspects of employee-related issues, including manager/employee issues, policies & procedures, investigations, terminations, review of appealed terminations, reorganizations, EEOC claims, etc.Talent & Performance Management: Provides advice and counsel to managers and employees on all talent and performance related issues, including identifying key talent, succession planning, recognition and rewards, attendance/performance issues, performance improvement, and terminations.Compensation/Benefits: Executes compensation and benefits programs (annual salary planning process, salary surveys and analysis, benefit programs and employee services). Provides insightful analysis and recommendations to help the business understand the market.

Keeps current with local, national and international compensation and benefits trends and provides guidance for pay practices for current employees and prospective candidates. Partners with management and Benefits to assist with the management of leaves, disabilities, and Worker’s Compensation.Special Projects: Can lead and contribute to special and cross-functional projects as needed. Staffing: Partners with the Staffing and the line organizations to fill open requisitions. Analyzes hiring trends and makes recommendations for recruiting strategies to attract world-class talent to the organization.Training and Development: Understands the training/development needs and acts as liaison with Apple University to provide appropriate training to the organization.

Develops and delivers content in areas of management and leadership, communication and team effectiveness. Expertly sources third party vendors and executive coaches to provide additional development resources for their client groups. Has ability to coach managers and executives at all levels.HR Metrics: Shows an ability to distill large amounts of data into meaningful trends. Provides insightful reports and analysis of essential HR data to line management.
