Duties include:
Perform testing to measure pulmonary function and to measure the capacity of the lungs.
Maintain patient charts and records.
Teach patients how to perform self-care treatments such as the use of nebulizers.
Use incentive spirometers and aerosol gases.
Perform positive pressure treatments.
