This position is field based for the Northeast Region and reports to our facility located in Greenville, NC. NMHG designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. We are one of the global leaders in the Material Handling industry and have been building relationships and partnering with our customers, suppliers, dealers and employees for over 80 years.

Key accountabilities include:

The Big Truck Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for increasing big truck sales and market share. The RSM will accomplish this in several ways, such as developing and/or supporting conquest accounts with Dealer and National Accounts, providing monthly dealer forecasts, providing direct sales support to dealers, including equipment recommendations, competitive pricing and product reviews, training on new product, etc. The RSM will also provide factory commitments to support dealers and/or customers with special situations or concerns.

It is essential for the RSM to provide a professional and constant factory presence with the dealer/customer level to maintain the highest performance possible from the field sales force and, in turn, provide NMHG with relevant information from the competitive marketplace upon which to develop product and marketing strategies needed to attain and then maintain a leadership role in all segments of the material handling industry.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or related field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years progressive sales and/or marketing experience
  • 5+ years of product application and technical product knowledge in the material handling, heavy equipment or similar industry
  • 5+ years of presentation experience
Qualified candidates must be based in the Northeast Region of the US.
