Job Title: Director Communications
Location: New Castle, DE
Christiana Care Health Systems is currently recruiting a Director of Communications to oversee employee communications and trustee communications, government and media relations and issues management. The candidate should have a proven track record of results-driven communications strategy and planning. The position will report to the Senior VP of External Affairs and will lead a team of communications professionals while planning and implementing internal communications for a billion dollar health system. Responsibilities include developing strategic communications plan to support our "great-place-to-work" culture, performance improvement and safety. Provide day-to-day leadership for internal newsletter and is responsible for writing and editing.
Requirements include a Masters degree (preferred) and a minimum of seven years of experience in marketing, public relations or communications field. Candidates with an APR are preferred. Exceptional writing skills a must. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Requirements further include knowledge of advertising and public relations functions and their operations. CB
