Job Summary:

A l eading global automotive supplier Kautex; a business unit of internationally renowned Textron Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to work in automotive product development. This position is responsible for leading all design and development activity associated with assigned programs, ensuring the design meets the customer’s expectations and can be produced efficiently at planned production volumes.

Responsibilities :
Lead the engineering activities for the Fuel System product development, from initial concept to production launch.
Interface directly with the customer to ensure all functional specifications and legislative requirements are met.
Generate product specifications, as required.
Support development of production processes, tooling & equipment specifications, quality documentation, test plans, etc.
Develop and maintain the Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) and associated timing to meet the customer milestones.
Develop and maintain the Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and other applicable engineering tasks in the Kautex Program Launch Management Process.
Assist Kautex Global functions involved with sub-component development.
Encourage continuous improvement activities through Six Sigma processes and VA/VE ideas.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
Position Requirements:
Experience in automotive product development an asset
Fuel Systems, blow-molding and/or injection molding experience preferred.
