Established in 1989, Key Human Services, Inc. (Key) expands Keystone's vision of community-based support programs to the State of Connecticut. Key's purpose and mission is to act as a change agent for people with disabilities, creating opportunities that encourage growth and meaningful life choices while assisting persons in finding home, health, friends, work, and presence in their communities. With support from the Department of Developmental Services, the Department of Social Services, and the Department of Children and Families of the State of Connecticut, Key provides a selection of services and supports, such as community living arrangements (group homes), individual supports, nursing services, and Birth to Three, to people with disabilities.
Teach, assist and counsel adults with developmental disabilities in activities of daily living; Assist in developing, writing, and implementing goals. Provide transportation in personal vehicle as needed; Attend all required meetings and training; Assist the Program Director in: Reviewing, correcting, approving, completing and submitting all administrative, fiscal, Keystone and regulatory agency paperwork; Coordinate the day to day operations, acting as a lead person within the program to assist in scheduling and training staff; administer the finances of the program assigned to you; Maintain and develop the individual service plans; Provide emergency back-up coverage as needed; Coordinate communications with family, friends, support staff, allied agencies and professional others.
Full-Time position available in the following area: Wethersfield
Hours: Tuesday- Friday 2p-10p & Saturday 11a-7p
