REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supervise direct bill employees under the supervision of a Production Supervisor in support of requirements from a Contract Delivery Order.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs maintenance operations and keeps accountability of organizations tooling, test equipment, supplies and ground support equipment.
Exceptional organizational skills in prioritizing workloads to meet aircraft delivery schedules
Demonstrates Leadership of employees, coordinates, and assigns duties and inspects work performed.
Ensures that production of products meets or exceeds efficiency and company quality standards.
Monitors and fosters harmony and teamwork among the crew assigned to his/her area of responsibility.
Monitors work during and after completion to determine safety, quality and completeness.
Enforce all L-3 Safety, Operational, and Ethical Policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
: Manages personnel and staff, including paperwork or digital assignments. Record keeping of QTL's (Quality Task Listing) and training involved with employees. Support the Production Supervisor in working with the customer and or their designated representatives in achieving their desired results. Supervise the disassembly, Evaluate and Examination, and assembly of aircraft engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, fuel controls and rotor blades.
Works closely with CCAD First -Line Supervisors and Quality Assurance Representatives and implements procedures contained in the CCAD Business Process Guide.
Principle communicator of policies and procedures between CCAD, the contractor's Site Management Team and employees.
Performs a wide variety of duties as assigned.
Must have a working knowledge of CCAD Standard Operating Procedures and L-3 Policies.
Maintain QTL's (digital format) on each employee they supervise .

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
Must have 5-7 years Aviation Maintenance Management Experience in a supervisory capacity in the trade/skill of the area they supervise
.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide technical support to Mechanical Engineers and support CCAD at all levels. Interpret regulations, technical manuals, blue prints as well as work orders, all pertaining to maintenance of aircraft engines, transmissions, gearboxes, hydraulic components, fuel controls and rotor blades. Apply technical analysis in system failure by applying technical expertise to return a failed system to fully operational status.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
Must possess an in-depth knowledge and experience of the occupational trade/skill of the area they manage
Able to supervise a large team of mixed trades. Have knowledge of ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 quality management systems requirements as well as elements of VPP.
