RADIATION PHYSICIST NEEDED FOR
FLAGSTAFF AND SEDONA MEDICAL CENTERS
This is a full time day position.
While working with a diverse population you will work independently under the direction of the Medical Director and Department Director performing physics services in accordance with the American College of Radiology standards of practice as required by regulatory agencies. You will also oversee and supervise the department's radiation safety program, participate in the departments quality assurance program, proficiency testing of radiation oncology equipment.
- Master of Science or Doctoral Degree in Medical Physics, or related discipline by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or state radiation
- Five years clinical experience in radiation therapy department including calibration or linear accelerators and other radiation sources, clinical dosimetry of external beams and implant sources, patient set-up and computer treatment planning
- Board Certification in Radiation Therapy Physics or Radiological Physics
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification within 3 months of hire
