The commercial banking relationship manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing quality loans and deposits. The RM’s primary focus is to proactively consult with and advise clients or prospective clients in developing solutions to meet their business banking needs.
Duties include analyzing financial data with negotiation and documentation of commercial loans consistent with acceptable credit standards while adhering to Johnson Bank loan policy. Must be self-motivated with demonstrated business development skills and the ability to effectively cross-sell financial products and services on behalf of Johnson Financial Group.
This position requires professional and community relations to increase the Bank's visibility as well as business and personal development.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related area preferred. Appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered. Minimum of 5 years commercial lending or related banking experience required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong credit skills, a proven sales track record, excellent business development skills, as well as superior client servicing and follow-through skills.
The successful candidate must also be comfortable and skilled at proactively calling on clients and prospective clients, initiating contacts, and developing relationships. Networking contacts and a proven book of business highly desirable.
