The successful candidate will participate in a variety of activities spanning IP design, transactor development/debug/test, reference driver development, hybrid virtual platform integration/test.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with RTL design and validation, preferably in the area of HW-SW co-emulation.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with at least one of the interface specifications (ie. IOSF, AMBA, OCP, QPI, FSB, PCIe, USB2/3)
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with verilog, system verilog, FPGA based design/validation.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with FPGA design, place/route, debug tools
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with RTL functional simulation, debug, and RTL development tools
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with integration of RTL with C/C++ code using DPI and/or SCE-MI
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with linux/android and experience with driver development
  • Minimum of 3 months experience with Makefiles, Perl, and Shell scripts
Preferred Qualifications:
Software expertise in linux/andorid and familiarity with driver development, scripting/testing

The candidate will be part of SEG Pre-Si SW development group (in Mobile Computing Group ) focused on the development of co-emulation/co-simulation platforms for next generation phone/tablets for use in early software development. The work in this team will span the spectrum from various aspects of hw design/prototyping, system integration, sw/driver development activities.
