Sr. Project Manager, Recruiting Compliance & Technology

Department Overview

The Recruiting Department at PG&E is responsible for providing PG&E with the right people for the right jobs at the right time to meet the needs of our customers and shareholders. The Recruiting Compliance and Technology team within Recruiting manages the hiring processes that are supported by technical systems (including but not limited to: ATS, background check technology, SAP, Business Warehouse, Business Intelligence for reporting, career portal integrations, etc.) key performance metrics and analytics utilized to source, select, and hire qualified candidates for PG&E. The team also produces workflows, metrics, performs ongoing recruiting data analyses, monitors system reliability, ensures adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), supports new projects, and meets all agreed upon scheduling and testing milestones associated with project delivery.

Position Summary

The Sr. Project Manager leads the development and implementation of recruiting compliance & technology projects from inception to closeout, working with key stakeholders on defining project, providing consultative support, and project management logistics including milestones and project plans. This person develops and maintains recruiting processes in support of the Recruiting Compliance & Technology team. This may include managing vendors to establish and maintain contracts, scorecards and monthly and quarterly reviews. The Sr. Project Manager tracks progress and inter-dependencies for all Recruiting Compliance & Technology projects including developing change management and communication strategies for assigned projects.

Projects require extensive knowledge of concepts, principles or practices in recruiting and HR operations. The Sr. Project Manager reports to the Recruiting Compliance & Technology Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing vendors, advanced knowledge of HR systems, policies, and procedures to facilitate compliant recruiting practices. The ideal candidate will understand the activities and processes involved in defining the scope of a technology upgrade or integration project and must understand audit and oversight functions and the impact of QA Reviews and Inspection on the projects for HR technology.

The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of all aspects of HR administration, strong presentation skills and the ability to analyze data and draw conclusions from analysis.
