We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to assist end users with daily workstation and LAN issues and provide backup assistance to Network Administrator on server and network systems. This position requires a strong desktop hardware and software support background and will support end users in local and remote offices through management of desktop systems, support of software installations and assistance with access to network systems.
In addition to these duties, the Desktop Support Specialist will be required to serve on the afterhours and weekend support on-call rotation, as well as, assist in implementation and support of network and server system when needed. This positions requires a minimum of 3 years desktop support experience and a minimum of 2 years desktop hardware experience. Associate degree accepted, Bachelor's degree a plus.
Advanced knowledge of the following is required: MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word, Strong Windows XP skills, Strong Desktop hardware skills, Cisco IPT, Polycom Video Conferencing, Windows 2003 server.
